THE FIELD TRIP CONTINUES.....

The Lims at Selegie
Jeremy: Now this is the main part of the trip! You
can now ask me anything about the
                  places over here.
Lynette: (Not very convinced) Ok. So.. Why
                  Selegie is called Selegie.
Jeremy: Simple.. Because this place used to be
populated by the Bugis Pirates called
                 Orang Selegie during early Singapore.
Lynette: Not Bad ah! You know things more than
                  just your French Horn.
Jeremy: ... (Gives the epic look)..
Win (Family Helper): (Laughs)
Kiriel and Jeriel: (Clueless)

The Old Selegie Primary School
Jeremy: Dear, this place used to be Selegie Primary
School. I wonder what is it used right now (there
were no signboards). Could be an arty place now.
Lynette: Really? I think my mom used to study in this
               school.
Jeremy: Seriously? (Doubtful)
Further Research:
Selegie Primary School was merged with Stamford Girls School and Waterloo School to form the Stamford Primary School.

David Elias Building
               a Jewish settler during Early
Singapore. Can you see the Star of
               David?
Lynette: Eh... this is the place where we ate
Chicken rice many years ago. Let's
bring the kids for Rochor "Tow
              Huay" (Soya Beancurd)
Jeremy: (Feels ignored)
Kiriel: I want to drink Soya Bean. I want to
                                                                                                   Soya Bean. (Repeats and Repeats)
